All our fixed fees are exclusive of VAT. Where applicable, VAT is charged at the current rate of 20% in accordance with UK tax regulations.

Disbursements

Disbursements are third-party costs incurred in connection with your matter, such as visa application fees. These are separate from our fixed service fees listed above.

To streamline your experience and help avoid delays, we can manage disbursement payments on your behalf. Common disbursements may include:

  • Home Office / Visa Application / Court Fees
We will notify you of the applicable fees as soon as they are known.
  • Interpreter Fees
If you require translation support and do not have a friend or family member available, we can arrange an interpreter and advise you of the expected costs.
  • Independent Expert Reports
Should your case require input from an independent expert—such as a medical professional—we will inform you promptly and provide an estimate of the associated fees.
  • Mileage & Travel Costs
Travel to attend meetings or Tribunal hearings is charged at £0.45 per mile, plus VAT at 20%, and any applicable parking fees.

Application Preparation and Processing Timeline

Preparing and submitting your application to the Home Office typically takes between 1 to 8 weeks, depending on your location and how quickly you can gather the necessary supporting documents.

While we cannot guarantee the exact duration of the Home Office’s processing time, we will check the most up-to-date estimates at the start of your case to give you a clear understanding of the expected timescales.
